Realm Resources Limited (Realm) aims to create shareholder value by operating and developing quality resource projects.
Realm's current significant holdings include:
A 70% interest in the Foxleigh Coal Mine (Foxleigh), located in the Bowen Basin of central Queensland, Australia, which is the world’s dominant seaborne metallurgical coal producing region. Foxleigh is an open cut, truck and excavator operation, producing premium low volatile PCI coal. Foxleigh currently produces approximately 3.2 Mt of premium PCI metallurgical coal (100% basis), which is transported by truck and rail to Dalrymple Bay port near Mackay, then shipped to Asian steel mill customers.
A 51% interest in the Katingan Ria Coal Project, located in central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Katingan Ria is a development project with low rank, sub-bituminous thermal coal which has been studied to a feasibility study level previously.
In addition to these assets, Realm holds interests in Alumicor (a South African aluminium waste toll treating business), Chrometco (a Johannesburg listed entity operating in the South African Chrome and Platinum Group Metals industry) and certain mineral rights situated in the Eastern Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex. Realm is currently looking at various options to monetise these assets.
Realm’s headquarters are in Brisbane, Australia.
